Caran D’Ache – Pencils – Klein Blue® – Set Of 4 (Limited Edition)

With this collaboration Caran d’Ache pays tribute to one of the most amazing artists of his time – Yves Klein. For this limited edition set, the iconic Caran d’Ache graphite pencils with HB lead are half adorned with the infinite ultramarine blue and print of the artist. This extremely saturated shade is fascinating to Klein as it is to Caran d’Ache for its uniqueness and matte, luminous radiance. 

During the post-war period, Yves Klein was part of the French art movement Nouveau Realism, and is known for his iconic blue coloured paintings. Interestingly, the deep blue colour was inspired by the sky, and he officially named it as International Klein Blue (IKB).
